Her most recent books include a new edition of Lupus Novice (Station Hill Press); a short story collection, Bitches Ride Alone (Black Sparrow Press); the novels The Story of the Lake (Faber & Faber) and Kingdom Come (Creative Arts Book Company).
Indiana University Press published the non-fiction book, Holy Personal, with photographs by Donna DeMari.
Donna DeMari has been shooting fashion and fine arts photography since the late seventies.
Her work has appeared in many top European magazines, including Vogue, Elle, and Marie Claire.
A show of her horse photographs, "Flying Mane," was held at the SAS Gallery in New York.
